Happy Days

The super talented Supershapes has a great new way to make even a wet January day in Chicago look like a designers dream. The calendar has a beautiful, simple visual appeal, and the smart choice of information gives it a very human feel. I particularly like the birthday notifications.

Start your day off right tomorrow, start it here.

For the perfect late Saturday afternoon in Sao Paulo, make sure you stop into Clube Chocolate. A perfectly integrated shop/bar/restaurant, allowing you to browse the collections at the same time you sip your drink. The biggest surprise for me however, were by far and away the most fantastic chips I have tasted (and I don't like chips). The store includes a fake beach and palm trees and four floors of shopping. There is a sister store in Rio which I sadly missed.

A fantastic integration of an established medium and the digital world. MagWerk creates an environment which allows users to behave in the way they are accustomed to but truly enhances it with a rich content. Put this on a tablet PC or a PSP and it really could be the next format for magazine publishing.

I was lucky enough to get a preview and fitting of the best new fashion label to come out of the UK, Social Suicide. An amazing range of tailored suits designed to break the norms of gentleman's attire, from a pink handbag on a grey pin striped suit to a measuring tape on the inside seam of the John Holmes edition. Each one is hand crafted and individually numbered and has a tight fitting punk feel to it. They should be available in Harvey Nichols in the near future.
The Nabaztag rabbit brings a fresh fun experience to the not so fun world wireless networking. It will tell you the weather when you wake up, sing you a song when you are feeling down, wish you well as you are heading out for the day, let you know when the latest trend centric newsletter has arrived and add a special glow to your living room. You can also receive messages from friends via SMS, email and telephone. If you have a friend with one, your rabbits ears can stay in sync as either one of you moves them. You can make mine talk here. Lotus takes my dream roadster to the next level with the exige. Now released in the UK it is going to be sorely missed I am sure for a number of years here in the US. I think it may be worth moving back to london for. The sport version has this disclaimer "As the Lotus Sport Exige is, at present, a one-off racecar, a price cannot be given for the racecar package." Perfect!

These icberlin sunglasses are the perfect thing to hide away from the February gloom in.

Tokyo is calling with Loveless a cavernous dreamscape of fashion. Filled with brands such as Libertine, Cloak & Green. The store is broken out into a number of very differently stlyed sections a perfect way to spend an entire afternoon. After you have found the perfect outfit or accessory visit the buyers only bar for a relaxed drink in the dungeon.
